Just incredible. It has charm and history and calmness and amazing views... but at the same time it has sattelite TV, fast wifi, nice bathrooms & upgraded spaces, full kitchens, grills, swimming pool, washer dryer, dishwasher! Basically everything you'd possibly need on a vacation.

Nice place. It's beautiful even in winter time.

Our two bedroom apartment was perfect for our trip to Tuscany - atop a hill overlooking olive orchards with great walking trails. It was close to a terrific restaurant (LaLacanda) and little towns with friendly food shops; easy day trips to Volterra, Sienna, Montepulciano, hot springs and spa. We enjoyed meeting guests from Germany, England, and the states. Wish we could have stayed longer than our four nights. Our next trip to Italy will include a longer stay here!

It had everything we could want in the apartment and was a fantastic place to stay. We have a little baby so Gisella and Fortunato kindly lent us some toys, high chair, baby bath that belong to their grandchildren. They are also a really interesting and hard working couple and it was a pleasure to meet them. The location is fantastic for touring the area but you must have a car as it is a little remote. It is kept clean. You can borrow books as other guests leave theirs behind. There is a washing machine which only costs a few Euros. There are maps and other helpful documents that are available in the apartments to tell you about local information - shopping, restaurants etc plus the host and hostess were so helpful. We really recommend the apartments.

Enjoyed the historic aspect of the location and the cooking class with a local cook. THe landscape was beautiful. THe owners provided an extremely helpful note book of directions to local areas of interest, restaurants, and nearby activities. Excellent location to a number of wonderful Tuscan hillside.

The whole atmosphere of Ambra 545 was so good. Fortunato and Gizelle were excellent hosts, willing to help with anything and providing everything we needed. The apartment was lovely with an amazing view. When one of the tenants became very will, Fortunato and Gizella were available to help and went out of their way to provide what was needed. We loved Ambra 545.

My boyfriend and I biked every single day for 3 days straight. We brought our own road bikes (were in Nice for a race beforehand) and road 70+ miles per day throughout Tuscany. Fortunato gave us maps for several routes that had spectacular views and fascinating sites to stop and visit. We loved having the kitchen to do our own cooking and plenty of outside seating to eat dinner an drink wine outside. The pool was very clean and we loved going for long bike rides...and then cooling off in the pool afterwards. The views from the place are so beautiful. And the village itself is extremely well maintained and the landscaping, gardening makes the place look and feel warm.

Quite with a million dollar view! We would wake in the morning to smell the country air and hear the coocoo birds calling. The whole area was landscaped with beautiful blooming plants of all varieties. I believe it will be your favorite experience of all when visiting the sights of Italy!

Everyone involved was warm and helpful, and genuinely in this out of a love of people. Advice was accurate and forthcoming. Cottage Laura is perfect. Central in Tuscany so easy to see everything on day trips - to return to the cottage in the middle of an olive grove. Vin Santo from Mario pretty good too...

Surroundings suited us perfectly, as we could take strolls, hikes, and short drives to our most desired spots in Tuscany easily.Great views and hosts!

Ambra 545:n sijainti on loistava. Autolla sieltä on erittäin hyvät ja lyhyet yhteydet tehdä matkoja Toscanaan seudulle sekä muuallekin Keski-Ktaliaan. Aivan lähikaupunkien rautatieasemat antoivat vielä lisämahdollisuuden, jos ei halua esim. Firenzeen mennä autolla. Majoitus on todella siisti ja hyvätasoinen, huoneiston varustelu on hyvä. Erityisesti arvostin tilavaa keittiö-oleskelutilaa. Vierailuaikamme oli syysykuun puoliväli ja silloin ilmasto oli erittäin miellyttävä, ei liian kuuma, mutta kuitenkin riittävän lämmin käyttää myös uima-allasta. Kaikkineen majoitus, alue, milijöö, maisemat, palvelu oli moitteetonta.

The facilities at Ambra 545 were great for our primary school aged children - table soccer, swimming pool, table tennis etc and space to play! The apartments had a great deal of authenticity and were beaufifully restored. The kitchen was fully equipped with full sized fridge and helped save a lot of money being able to cook our own meals. The twice weekly bread/vege van to the structure was a great convenience, but the supermarcato was not far anyway. Gisella was wonderful helping us compose a letter from the Italian toothfairy when our daughter lost her tooth! The herb gardens and flower gardens were well tended and free to enjoy for all guests. The hosts have thought of everything to make an enjoyable, family friendly stay and were just so welcoming of our children!

Piekne, historyczne i doskonale zadbane miejsce z urokliwymi widokami, rewelacyjnym wyposażeniem, przesympatyczną opieką właścicieli, którzy naszym dzieciom kazali mówic na siebie "babcia" i "dziadek". Cudowny wypoczynek w całkowitej ciszy zakłócanej wyłącznie śpiewem ptaków. Właściciele chętnie opowiedzieli nam niesamowitą historię tego 500-letniego miejsca. Bardzo dobra oliwa własnej roboty do kupienia od właścicieli (także wino i szampan). Czyściutki basen i mnóstwo leżaków. Bezpłatnie udostępnianie rowery, grill, stół do tenisa, piłkażyki. Sklep sam przyjeżdża :o) Właściciele mówią po angielsku.

Es un conjunto muy pintoresco y tìpico de Toscana, y esta muy cerca de lugares para conocer como Asis, Siena, Florencia, Volterra, en todas direcciones

Erittäin upea kiinteistö, uusittukin osa rakennettu vanhaan tyyliin. Tunnelma ikiaikainen. Kaukaa laaksosta kuuluu lehmänkello. Koko majoitusalue uima-altaineen on mahtavissa maisemissa ja laventelin tuoksussa. Ei liian kliinistä ja ulkoistettua, mutta siistiä ja mukavaa. Luontokokemuksenakin vailla vertaa, koska lähiluonnossa sai kulkea vapaasti. Sienna on aivan lähellä. Tämä on mainio ja rauhallinen tukikohta "oikean", kaakkoisen Toscanan tutkimiseen. Paikan pitäjiä oli mukavan helppo lähestyä, mutta he eivät tunkeneet päälle, vaan omaa rauhaa sai miellyttävästi. Asunnoille oli omat ruokailutilat myös ulkona.

Located in a tiny village, where the owner was born, so if you are looking for an authentic experience, this is it! The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful, but not nosy: took us to Sienna to see the famous horse race, suggested nearby restaurants, etc., and when asked about history of the village gave a tour of their own house. The facilities were the cleanest I've ever seen! Views from the rooms were spectacular! Nice size pool, ample seating areas, and an outdoor grill. Overall a nice balance of culture and relaxation: a wonderful experience!

The owners were lovely and genuinely concerned for our comfort and wellbeing.

The accomodations were so comfortable. Our apartment was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well-eqiupped so we were able to make meals for ourselves instead of dining out. We thought it was really neat that a bread seller came right to the little village square a couple of times a week. Also, we loved being able to explore the village and also ride bicycles to the neighboring village. The setting was exquisite --the scenery was breathtaking. Also, it was very centrally located -- easy to get to all the neat spots in Tuscany in very little time. Gisele and Fortunato really go out of their way to be accommodating. We were traveling with my 80-year-old mother and when they realized she wasn't very mobile, they immediately moved us to an apartment with few stairs. We didn't ask -- they just said, "this is better for Mama" and that was that.

Mooi uitzicht. Ideaal om met meer gezinnen naar toe te gaan. De eigenaren zijn heel hartelijk en hebben ons de oude wijnkelder laten zien en van alles verteld over de geschiedenis van hun huis en de huizen die ze verhuren.

Our stay at this property was everything we had hoped for - and more. The apartments were beautiful, the beds comfortable, and the owners were two of the most wonderful people we've ever met.

The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had all the necessary amenities both inside and out. The garden was a continuation of the living accommodation.

A Party of six adults, we loved having a "home" base for a week from which we could discover the area and then return for a swim, to relax and to cook our own food. My husband & I also took advantage of the bikes one afternoon for a different look around. Gisella & Fortunato are the most fabulous hosts. We were made to feel very welcome & I could play with speaking some Italian too. Would thouroughly reccommend staying with them and would love to return again with friends or family. Suitable for all ages and family friendly.

Belleza, antigüedad y amabilidad.

The property is quiet and peaceful and in the country yet there is quick and easy access to any part of Tuscany from here. This is a brilliant place to do mountain biking from, along jeep tracks that carry almost zero traffic so you are able to hear those crazy Italian drivers long before they are near. The facilities are good and the owners are so kind and friendly.

One afternoon, Giselle invited us for an excursion and took us to some of the beautiful and historic sites nearby. We would have missed these had it not been for her hospitality.
