Città di Castello 837 feels like a home away from home. The family is warm and welcoming without being too pushy. I just wish my Italian was better so I could communicate better. Well I'll try to improve, because we will return there!

This is enchanting but the Sirio apartment atop the villa is an extraordinarily beautiful accomodation, floating above the countryside with the Tiber River to the west and the Umbrian hills to the east. Unbelievably romantic!

The Sirio apartment obviously, and Maria, the manager is extremely nice and helpful.

Would really have liked some kind of internet access.

très bon accueil et très belle vue sur la région, un peu décu par le logement ou l'on avait le sentiment d'être un peu "enfermé" : pas de balcons par exemple. Piscine agréable et très bien entretenue

cadre de vie calme , relaxant, piscine agréable

Des guides d'informations sont disponibles mais trop succincts.

Beautiful tower room in a lovely country setting.

The room in the tower was fabulous and the perfect place to spend a rainy day.

No English spoken by the owners (and we spoke limited Italian). This was an apartment, not a B&B which we thought it was. Since it was a holiday it made for some logistical problems as far as getting meals or provisions. The online directions to this place were very poor and we spent an hour trying to find it. The signage needs to be improved at the very least starting at the main highway. Forget relying on a GPS.

It is situated in a beautifull area.The house itself was relatively difficult to find but is very certral for exploring the area. You certainly need a car. Montone is a real gem and only 5 minutes from this villa.The owners do not seem to be aware of the value of this mountain gem...they said there was only one restaurant in Montone but there are several very interesting ones.There is a trattoria in the nearby village which is a great find...looks like a truck stop outside but is surprising inside and has great food at very reasonable prices

This house is out in the country and it is wonderfull to wake up in the morning and see the fog all over the hills and hear the sounds of rural Italy including all the gunshots as the hunters pursue the local widlife. Not nearly as touristy as Tuscany and brilliant because of this.

Mentioned above I felt the owners should have a lot more local knowledge and be able to give directions to restaurants in the local area.They are nice people but the place is far too rough and ready for the clientele they would like to attract. There is a lot of room for improvement especially as this is an out of the way location.

przyzwoity lokal, zgodny z opisem, niesamowita sypialnia w apartamencie z wieżą (widok na 4 strony świata);

przyzwoite warunki, niezbyt drogo, czysto, zgodnie z opisem + super widoki na okolice, piękne lasy, pola, góry w tle, z pokoju można czasem zobaczyć dzikie zwierzęta i/lub myśliwych na polach.

własciciele mówia tylko po włosku, co ogranicza kontakt, możliwość wypytania się o okolicę, jeśli nie znasz lub słabo znasz ten język, etc.

Loved our stay

This was a beautiful villa well off the beaten track. The room was very spacious and well appointed, the owners were very friendly and the grounds were simply beautiful. We loved having a glass of wine out on the balcony under the stars

There was nothing negative about our stay.
