A great place to stay

The comfort of the accommodation. The location just a brief walk to the town square. Roberto, the owner was extremely helpful and provided excellent advice about the area and places to visit

Nessun titolo rilasciato dal turista

rural setting, wonderful cook/"chef", great (small) town, nice supermarket, nice resturants in town, railroad station to anywhere Italy

I really can't think of anything negative. I think it would help if you had simple taqsters, love of farming/outdoors or need a good base for travel by train to Florence etc. My only complaint is we didn't allow enough to enjoy the region. (3 days)

Uniquely located central to all of Tuscany. The proprietor, Roberto, is an outwtanding host. Each day he greeted us in the courtyard and asked us where we planned to go. He made suggestions each day that turned out to be just what we were looking for. He could not be more gracious or helpful. We were so thrilled with out stay that we have told all our friends about it and recommended that they look up Roberto and his wonderful villa.

We stayed in the unit that he calls The Arches. We arrived earlier than espected and he dropped everything to help us with our luggage and to show us around. He became a superb daily tour advisor. We can't say enough about him or the lovely villa that he provided. It is large, very attractive and comforable and convenient to everything though a bit tricky to find the first time.

We don't speak Italian so we couldn't understand much of the TV programming but that isn't what we went there for.
