  Excellent situation to visit Abruzzes ideally situated in lovely country Calm in the nature in a historic site Farm animals Swimming pool with great sight on the mountains The owners are really nice friendly and help a lot to find the adapted sight tours or good restaurants We had a lot of funTheir wine and olive oil are just excellent Hollidays with mountains nature see culture and fare niente

  Sometimes some mosquitos prevent against with spray or other

  Accueil des propriétaires. Grande disponibilité. Explications sur les activités et visites à faire dans la région. Très beau jardin avec chaises longues, piscine, table de ping-pong, babyfoot. Excellent endroit pour une famille. Endroit très calme dans la nature.

  N'hésitez-pas à demander aux propriétaires des idées d'excursions ou visites. Ils vous fournissent déjà toute une série de documents ou cartes de la région. On sent leur passion de cette magnifique région et leur envie de faire plaisir. À faire: les excursions dans les parcs nationaux; marcher dans le lit de la rivière jusqu'à la "citerne" et sa très belle cascade; réserver le tour en canoë; visiter les maisons creusés dans la falaise; goûter les fameuses brochettes de moutons.....et j'en passe.

  Propriétaires accueillants et attentifs. Ils nous ont donné de très bonnes informations sur la région qui est si magnifique et diverse que nous souhaitons y retourner.

  La position centrale de notre logement "Torretta" limitait un peu notre tranquilité

  “Between roads, industry and national parks.”

  The owner and his family are very nice, friendly and helpful. The apartment we stayed in were spacious and cozy. The agriturismo is situated close to two national parks that had great hiking and beautiful scenery.

  the Tocco da Casauria is squeezed in between a freeway, a highway and some local industry. You can't see this on the photos and its not mentioned in the description. You wake up to the sound of cars and machines.

  Stay here if you don't mind the noise from heavy traffic. The owner and his wife knows the area very well and can guide you to hikes and sightseeing off the beaten track. If you are looking for a peaceful agriturismo in the beautiful Abruzzo - stay somewhere else.

  Sincerely this negative review seems a bit exaggerated.Yes it is true that we are near roads and on the outskirts of the village though:- The highway passes under the ground level (is buried), and you do not hear it at all, it can only be seen from far away (some kilometers of distance), before it starts to descend below street level;- In our opinion you can not almost hear the noise of the State Road the same, or at least very softly (but these are personal opinions - I do not think, however, that many comments on the various websites dedicated to review ever speak of this problem);- Yes the industry close to us occasionally produces some light noise, certainly not very pleasant to have in a historic house surrounded by a park of 2 hectares, a beautiful farm all around full of woods and gardens and close to several National Parks very beautiful and wild, but honestly this is the first negative review in our 35 years of business. All true, then, definitely our strong point is not the silence, but to say that you wake up to the sound of cars and machines is the first time that we are told by any of our several customers !
