8 Vedi recensione completa La beauté des lieux Le Petit déjeuner n'etait pas du niveau de prix de cette location. Le wifi ne marchait pas dans les chambres, il fallait être dans le couloir. Il est précisé dans le descriptif qu'il y a possibilité de pension complète, mais le jour où nous sommes arrivés, pas de possibilité de manger le soir... Il faut donc prévoir à l'avance. “Lovely place to stay - just what we were looking for.”
9 Vedi recensione completa Lovely setting, lots of privacy and large room, beautifully restored. We were the only ones staying at this castle during our week there and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The owner personally greeted us with a basket of fresh fruit and had the room stocked with a few groceries so that we had something to eat if we needed. The owners/caretakers allowed us a great deal of independence - they came to clean once and otherwise left us to ourselves, which we like. No Wi-Fi, had to do a wire transfer to reserve which is inconvenient. Suggest enabling customers to place deposit with credit card or cash with Paypal. Pool needed a little upkeep, but we weren't there to swim anyway. Renting a car while staying is a must, not only because places are more spread out, but because there are some lovely drives and scenery that should be experienced. We had a small kitchenette and there is a little grocery store in Greve in Chianti that we used quite frequently. It is conveniently located right next to the bank/ATM machine. We particularly enjoyed dining at Locanda il Gallo which is only about 5min away from the castle. Punteggi assegnati

“An interesting, romantic place in a great, central, location for exploring the Tuscan countryside. Good for the family experience of staying in a small castle from where you can walk or explore by car.”
6.3 Vedi recensione completa the look and feel of the castle: in good condition and very well maintained;the swimming pool; the location in the heart of Tuscany; beautiful surrounds and walking opportunities While the single beds for the children were fine, the queen bed was a fold out which sagged and had a tilt: not adequate for the price. Also, the castle hosts weddings through the summer so make sure you check these dates to avoid a loud experience... Check wedding dates with the owner very carefully! The walk from the castle through the valley is very nice and there are plenty of interesting things to see at Greve in Chianti and other surrounding towns. “A truly amazing experience in the heart of Toscana. The accommodation was superbly authentic, especially the Tower and it all meant for a chivalrous experience amongst friends. Full marks to the beautiful caretakers.”
