  Manuel and his family are gracious hosts. His home has the look and feel of the well-appointed family home that it is. Beautiful terrace for a generous breakfast. There is no food to speak of (one small bar) in Castelnuovo di Magra but Manuel directed us to an excellent restaurant in the next town over where he made our reservations and the food was terrific. The tower in Castelnuovo di Magra has a black and white photography exhibit through Oct that is worth the price of admission.

  We were satisfied with the oscillating fan in our room but others might want to know that there is no A/C available.

  “A wonderful stay in a typical small village in Italy !”

  Emmanuele and Paola welcome our two families so warmly. We had two wonderful nights and two marvelous dinners in their charming terrace after visiting the Cinque Terre. Such a peaceful place ! We had their advices in our visits. It was really nice !

  There is nothing to say in negative aspects.
